About the PAIMI Advisory Council 

PAC Flyer ThumbnailThe PAIMI Advisory Council (PAC) is charged with providing P&As information about issues related to individuals with mental illness. They provide independent advice and recommendations to the P&A system and have a commitment to promote the legal and civil rights of people with mental illness and advocate for their personal choices. They also educate the public about the purpose, priorities, and activities of DRSD and the PAIMI program.

Disability Rights South Dakota is seeking a an individual who has received or is receiving mental health services to fill a current vacancy on its Protection & Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Program Advisory Council. See the links below for more information about the council and learn how to apply. Applications are due by February 1, 2024.
